The TUN-4043 is a universal, addressable, multi-sensor heat detector designed for early fire hazard detection in rooms where a significant or rapid increase in temperature can be expected during the initial phase of a fire or for other reasons. This microprocessor-based detector can be programmed from the control panel to operate in fixed or fixed/rate-of-rise heat detection modes. It also allows programming of the detector class, such as A1, A2, B, A2S, BS, A1R, A2R, or BR, in compliance with the European standard EN 54-5. The TUN-4043 operates exclusively in addressable loops of the POLON 4200 fire alarm control panel and cannot function in interactive mode.
The detector is equipped with an internal short-circuit isolator and works with the G-40 base. Additional optical signaling for the detector or a group of detectors can be achieved by connecting the WZ-31 indicator. The TUN-4043 signals alarm status with red flashes of a two-color LED, and fault or technical alarm states, as well as short-circuit isolator activation, with yellow flashes. Address coding is performed automatically from the control panel, and the address code is stored in the detector's memory.
