The CTX-3-HS is a miniature wireless magnet detector designed for use in alarm and monitoring systems. It features a built-in reed contact and an external magnet, triggering alarm transmission when the magnet moves either outwards or inwards, signaling the opening or closing of a monitored door or window. The detector supports both one-way and two-way operating modes, user-selectable, and offers up to 100 meters operating range in open space. When used in two-way mode with Elmes CB32 control panel or dedicated Elmes CH4H, CH8H, or CH20H receivers, the detector enables real-time bistable (on-off) relay output, corresponding to open or close detection signals from the magnet detector. This ensures full monitoring of doors and windows, preventing any from being left open when the system is armed.
The CTX-3-HS uses KEELOQ® dynamic code encryption for maximum security and features very low power consumption, allowing up to one year of autonomous operation on a single 12V miniature battery. Additional features include low battery warning, anti-sabotage TAMPER switch, and user-selectable LED indication. The detector is compliant with EU standards and is resistant to radio interference up to 10V/m in the 1GHz range. It is suitable for indoor use within an ambient temperature range of 0°C to +40°C.
