The Universal Heat Detector TUN-38Ex is designed for early detection of fire hazards in rooms where a significant or rapid increase in temperature can be expected at the initial phase of a fire or due to other reasons. This detector can be programmed to operate as a rate-of-rise or fixed/rate-of-rise heat detector, making it highly adaptable for various applications. The TUN-38Ex is intrinsically safe and suitable for installation in areas with explosion hazards.
The detector is compatible with conventional fire alarm systems such as IGNIS 1000, as well as addressable systems like POLON 4000 via addressable units ADC-4001M. It is manufactured in a standalone housing with two cable glands for signal loop wiring and does not require additional mounting sockets. The detector features a black housing and can be equipped with external activation indicators (WZ-31) for installations in hard-to-reach places.
Temperature changes are monitored by an electronic circuit with a measuring thermistor, which, upon detection, sends an alarm signal to the control panel and activates a red LED indicator. The device is certified by CNBOP 1987/2005 and KDB 04ATEX170X, and also holds an EEx ib IIC T5/T6 intrinsic safety mark.
