SAL-4001 Addressable Signaling Device
The SAL-4001 is an addressable signaling device designed for local signaling of fire alarms. It is compatible exclusively with the detector loop/line of POLON 4000 series control panels. The device is activated by the control panel after meeting programmed operating criteria, such as the activation of a fire detector (or manual call point) in a selected detection zone or pre-alarm conditions in the control panel.
Cooperation: Fire alarm control panels POLON 4200, POLON 4800, POLON 4900, and POLON 4500.

The SAL-4001 can operate using power from the detector line, an external 9V battery, or an external power supply. It automatically switches between power sources to ensure maximum sound output. The device monitors the presence of power sources and signals any faults via the control panel and a yellow LED indicator. The SAL-4001 features three types of emitted sounds and is equipped with an internal short-circuit isolator. The address coding is performed automatically from the control panel and stored in non-volatile memory.
