Purpose:
The PO-63 Manual Call Point is designed for manual activation of smoke dampers in fire safety systems. It is suitable for both surface and flush mounting indoors. The PO-63 model provides FIRE, OK (ready-state), and FAULT signaling, and is equipped with a reset switch for easy restoration to the ready state.
There are three types of manual call points in the PO-6x series:
- PO-61: Manual call point with FIRE signaling (damper activated)
- PO-62: Manual call point with FIRE signaling and equipped with a reset switch
- PO-63: Manual call point with FIRE, OK (ready-state), FAULT signaling, and equipped with a reset switch
The call points operate in conjunction with the UCS-4000 system.
Operation Principle:
Activation is performed by breaking or pressing hard on the protective glass, which then allows access to the activation button. Pressing the button sends a signal to the smoke damper control panel. The system then activates the FIRE signal, indicated by a flashing red LED. The arrows pointing to the button change color from black to yellow upon activation. Resetting the FIRE state is done with a special key, which also returns the protective glass to its normal position. The PO-62 and PO-63 models are equipped with a reset switch, allowing the damper servomotor to return to the ready position.
