Detector base G-33
Purpose:
The G-33 detector base is designed for connecting fire detectors to a fire alarm system. It is used for installing the following detectors: PUO-35, PUO-35Ex, and DIO-37Ex. The base is suitable for intrinsically safe detectors such as DIO-37Ex, PUO-35Ex, or detectors of the 30 series that operate in harsh conditions.
Construction:
The G-33 base features four terminals:
| 1 | Negative pole of the signaling loop |
| 2 | Wire to the external activation indicator |
| 3 and 3' | Positive pole of the signaling loop |
| 3 - 3' | Connects the detector, allowing control of the integrity of the signaling loop and monitoring the presence of all detectors installed in the loop |
| Mounting | Ceiling mounting with two screws and expansion pins |
| Sealing | Two cable gland seals |
| Locking | The gasket, fixed with three screws, prevents removal of the detector without tools |
