Purpose
The G-40 socket base is designed for mounting detectors of the 40, 4043, and 4046 series (DOR-40, DIO-4046) on ceilings and for connecting signal loop wires to them.
Once the socket is secured in the special PG-40 base, it can be installed in rooms where condensation of water vapor occurs on ceilings, as well as on supporting cables. The PG-40 base, when equipped with an additional PG7 choke, allows the G-40 socket to be converted into a suspended type. For mechanical securing of the detector in the socket, a protective OZ-40 screen made of steel wire is provided.

A ZW-40 bracket is available, which allows testing of the loop without the detector.
