Flame detector PUO-35
The PUO-35 is a conventional UV flame detector designed for early detection of fire by sensing ultraviolet radiation present in flames. It is suitable for use in protected rooms and can operate in both conventional fire alarm systems such as IGNIS 1000 and addressable systems like POLON 4000 via addressable units ADC-4001M. The detector is also available in an intrinsically safe version (PUO-35Ex) for installation in hazardous areas with explosion risk, certified by the Main Institute of Mining Industry of Poland (certificate No. 97.606W) and marked with intrinsic safety 1EmibIIC T6.
The PUO-35 is resistant to false light sources that do not emit ultraviolet radiation and operates by counting pulses generated on the electrode of a gas-discharge electronic lamp as a result of photoelectronic emission. The active surface is made of quartz glass and should be kept clean and untouched by fingers.
