Autonomous Home Smoke Detector ADR-20N
The ADR-20N is an optical smoke detector designed for early detection of visible smoke at the initial stage of a fire, long before open flames appear and temperature rises. This allows for early warning in small spaces such as apartments, houses, cellars, garages, and attics. The detector is suitable for standalone operation or can be interconnected with other detectors in a network. When one detector senses smoke, all connected detectors will signal an alarm.
The ADR-20N is intended for use in enclosed spaces where, under normal conditions, there is no smoke, dust, or steam condensation. It is not recommended to install the detector near fans, air conditioners, or heating devices, or in areas with high humidity or condensation.
The detector operates on the principle of measuring infrared radiation scattered by smoke particles in a sealed measuring chamber. It is powered by a replaceable 9V battery (6F22), which should last at least one year. The device is equipped with a test button for checking its functionality and can be cleaned or replaced if the measuring chamber becomes contaminated.
Detectors can be installed individually or interconnected using a two-wire cable, creating a network for comprehensive fire protection. The maximum protected area per detector is approximately 60 m². Installation should be on the ceiling, preferably in the center of the room, with at least 20 cm of free space from walls and objects that may obstruct air flow.
The detector can operate in the following states:
Pressing the test button activates both sound and optical alarms as in a real fire situation. The detector is certified by CNBOP 1918/2005.
