The VCA-1/2000 video amplifier is designed to amplify a single video signal transmitted via coaxial cable, enabling signal transmission distances of up to 2000 meters. The control knobs allow for both gain adjustment and frequency response correction. As the gain increases, the correction becomes deeper, ensuring optimal signal quality over long distances.
The VCA-1/2000 features a distance range switch for two ranges: 400-1200 meters and 1200-2000 meters. The amplifier provides excellent signal quality up to 1200 meters. For longer distances, some degradation in video signal quality may occur (such as lower contrast and geometric distortion). In such cases, the device is suitable when there are no high-end requirements or alternative solutions for long-distance transmission. The amplifier should be installed at the end of the transmission line, near the monitor. Its main advantage is its low price.
