HDMI-EX-5E/TRF-T - HDMI EXTENDER
HDMI Extender allows to send HDMI signal (also Full HD - 1080p standard) for distance up to 30 m via CAT5e/6 twisted-pair cable between transmitter/sender (connected to the HDMI source device, for example: PC, notebook, DVD player, Blu-Ray player, HDTV receiver, Home Cinema System, Xbox/Playstation game console, camera) and receiver (connected to the LCD/Plasma monitor, projector, etc.).
This device is equipped with input/output to connect IR Remote Controller Extension. So, you can control the HDMI source device (eg DVD player) from anywhere in the house, near every TV-set/monitor (the HDMI device can be hide in any place and you don't need to worry about remote controller range). The compatible IR Remote Controller Extension is TRF-EX-5E. It is available as separate item in our shop offer.
The HDMI Extender usage is recommended in the following cases:
- The HDMI signal must be send for a disrtance over 15 m.
- The UTP cable is already located at the object.
- Economic reasons (the UTP cable is much cheaper than HDMI cable).
- Mounting considerations necessitate the use of twisted-pair cable (HDMI cable is thicker and stiffer from UTP cable).
