The PWM solar controller is a converter used to control the operation of photovoltaic systems. The task of the solar regulator is to ensure the proper characteristics of the charging current of the batteries, protecting them against too deep discharge or overcharging. Solar regulators guarantee increased battery life in the SOLAR PANEL / Battery system. The controller is equipped with a photocell function (it has the option of switching the output on in relation to sunsets and sunrise). The solar regulator protects the battery against deep discharge by disconnecting the source of energy consumption after exceeding the critical voltage of 10.8V for the battery. When the battery is fully charged, the regulator disconnects the power from the photovoltaic panels when the battery voltage is in the range of 14V-14.5V.
